The 150 Top “Perfect” Albums (according to Reddit)

There’s a fun thread on Reddit that got going when someone shared what they consider ‘perfect albums’, as in: “”Perfect” meaning you never skip any songs, the album flows seamlessly, and there’s an overall theme.”

In an era of Spotify singles and playlist-centric listening, it’s an interesting idea to ponder. It’s sort of a throwback to the physical media days when the cassette or record after every song was impractical. So having an album that was ‘perfect’ all the way through was a find.

As you can imagine, there are a LOT of suggested albums in the thread. So to break it down, I’ve taken all the suggested albums, removed duplicate mentions, and ranked them alphabetically.

How to use this list:

• See an album and remember “Oh yeaaaaahhhh, I like that!”. And then go listen to it.
• See an album you don’t know, but looks interesting. And then go listen to it.
