Kevin Roosevelt Moore (born October 3, 1951), known as Keb' Mo', is an American blues musician. He's a singer, guitarist, songwriter, and four-time Grammy Award winner. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
Keb' Mo' has been described as :
"a living link to the seminal Delta blues that traveled up the Mississippi River and across the expanse of America".
His post-modern blues style is influenced by many eras and genres, including folk, rock, jazz, pop, and country.
The moniker "Keb Mo" was coined by his original drummer, Quentin Dennard, and picked up by his record label as a "street talk" abbreviation of his given name.

Keb' Mo' uses a 1954 strat. upon meeting him multiple times back stage he would jam on the strat he uses it only back stage and recording upon asking him why he keeps a strat back stage he said "I love this guitar a good strat like this one is reliable iv banged it up and theres not a dent it sounds great in the studio with some balancing but as you know single coils are a pain on stage."
