I got hooked on Calum Graham’s tune, Tabula Rasa, as soon as I heard it on Spotify a few weeks ago. Spotify curates a series of “concentration” playlists. The idea is to play music to help you concentrate on work. So, of course, I played the “Acoustic Concentration” playlist and was immediately distracted.
A Bit of Background
Calum Graham is a young acoustic guitarist from Canada. He specializes in modern fingerstyle guitar. Initially, he grabbed some notice by winning the Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Competition back in 2010. Since then, he’s followed up with great recordings, a contract with Candyrat Records, and most recently got signed up to front Rodrigo y Gabriela on their summer tour.
I love the intersection of acoustic guitar and gear, so I thought it was great that he Instagrammed a photo of his pedalboard last week.
